The only time fees come into play is during the actual leasing process — and we're transparent about all of that upfront before you commit to anything.
How long until I hear something?

It depends on your criteria — specifically your preferred neighborhoods, budget, and move-in timeline. We can't give an exact timeframe because availability changes constantly. What we can tell you: when something that matches your profile opens up, you hear from us before it goes anywhere public. Are the properties well-maintained?

Yes — without exception. Every property we manage is held to the same standard: clean, fully functional, and ready before you move in. We front-load the work in vacant units so your first day feels like arriving somewhere — not starting a repair list. If something needs attention after you're in, our maintenance network is built before we need it, not assembled in a panic.
What happens after I fill out the form?

Immediately: you receive a confirmation text and email confirming you're in our system. Within 24 hours: a real member of our team reviews your profile. If something is available right now that fits, we reach out directly. Ongoing: your profile stays active. When a unit opens in your preferred area that matches your budget and criteria, you're among the first people we contact — before it goes public anywhere.
Can I update my preferences after I submit?

Absolutely. Just reach out and we'll update your profile right away. Email us at hello@omnyxliving.com. Life changes — your list profile should reflect where you actually are. We'd rather have accurate information than match you to something that no longer fits.
I'm relocating from out of state. Can you help me without visiting first?

Absolutely. We work with relocating employees regularly. We understand sight-unseen decisions are sometimes necessary — and we make sure the information, photos, and communication we provide give you everything you need to decide with confidence. We arrange virtual tours for all out-of-state renters who request them.
What neighborhoods do you cover?

We feature properties across Detroit's Wayne County area — including Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland County across the Metro Detroit region. If you're looking in a neighborhood not listed, note it on the form and we'll work to find the right fit for you.
How is Omnyx Connect different from Zillow or Apartments.com?

We're not a listing aggregator. We're the actual property management company. When you're on our list, you're talking to the people who manage and make decisions on every property. That means faster responses, real information, and no middleman between you and the people who hold the keys. Do you allow pets?

Pet policies vary by property. Some of our managed properties allow pets and some don't. When you fill out the list form, note that you have a pet — we factor that into the match so we're only reaching out about units where your pet would be welcome.
